1. Kimchi

Kimchi is definitely not the first food you’d picture to affect blood sugar levels. But shockingly, it does (in a very good way), and its many BENEFITS extend beyond just lowering blood sugar.

It’s a low-calorie nutrient-dense food that can also help REDUCE inflammation,

STRENGTHEN the immune system, and AID HEALTHY weight loss--

This has a domino effect that will help reduce blood sugar levels.

According to one study that PROVES kimchi’s effect on diabetes...

21 prediabetic participants were asked to add fermented kimchi to their daily diet. For a period of 8 weeks.

At the end of the study...

They discovered glucose tolerance in 33% of the participants had DRASTICALLY IMPROVED.

Which is pretty incredible…

No wonder it is a staple in many Korean dishes – Helping them to one of the highest life spans in the world.

2. Chia Seeds

In recent years, the popularity of chia seeds has SKYROCKETED like no other-- and that’s for a very good reason.

Can reap ENORMOUS BENEFITS from eating shellfish. As well as other delicious seafood like salmon, tilapia, shrimp, and trout.

Many of these kinds of seafood are rich in omega-3 fatty acids--

Which, in case you didn’t know, are the type of HEALTHY FATS that the body needs.

Shellfish and seafood regulates blood pressure by preventing it from spiking after a meal.

It can also INCREASE insulin sensitivity... and thus IMPROVE its effectiveness in those folks with diabetes.

The great thing about seafood is there is a wide range of tasty ways to prepare it.

One of my favorite seafood dishes is oven baked lightly seasoned salmon.

I prepare it with a drizzle of squeezed orange juice... and a side of green beans.

I am no whizz in the kitchen so this is super simple to throw together after a busy day. From the oven or grill to your plate in less than 20 minutes.

4. Kale

Dubbed as the QUEEN OF GREEN...

It’s safe to say that a list mentioning foods that help regulate blood sugar isn’t complete without the mention of KALE
